Tickets are now on sale for the Listen Up Music Songwriter’s Festival. Our festival aims to uncover the greatest new songwriting talent in Australia and Great Britain. With well over 2500 entries, we asked songwriters to submit a song responding to a specific theme, to help spread positive messages surrounding mental health. This year’s theme is “I am here”. We’ve narrowed down all the entries to a top 30 in both Australia and Britain. We invite you to be a part of our semi-finals as we watch each song performed live, and score them to decide who goes to the grand finals in London and Sydney.

Listen Up was an unforgettable experience – it didn’t feel like a competition at all. You have these ten strangers bearing their heart and soul to you on stage by the stories they are telling and it’s captivating. It’s much more than a competition and it was a honour to be a part it. - Chris Pryke, UK

“Listen Up Songwriters’ Festival was the first songwriting competition I ever entered, and it was an absolutely amazing experience! Not only did I get to share my self-produced original song with an amazing group of people, I also got to talk to an incredible group of judges & mentors and establish connections. Seeing so many amazing artists with great songs was so inspiring, and made me want to write and produce more.” - Chelsea Warner, Australia
