Health & Wellbeing

Suicide is the biggest killer of people between 15 and 44 years of age in Australia. Statistics can be shocking. But they don’t offer prevention or answers. Rise Foundation seeks to revolutionise these stats by empowering young people to rise above.

Mental health and suicide awareness organisations exist for those who are already ‘there’ in the final grips of hurt, sadness, depression and hopelessness. Rise Foundation aims to get to people before they get ‘there’.

We believe that by nurturing a healthy lifestyle, physically and emotionally, alongside goal setting, perspective, and a spirit of brother and sisterhood, young people have a safe place to fall. They are in turn equipped with an awareness of mental health and the practical tools to rise from inevitable lows. Education is key.

We have seen many suffer poor mental health, often without an outlet or the tools to seek help. We have lost many along the way. Rise Foundation wants to prevent this from happening again
